Our safety principles
Verified venues
Every venue on Houny is manually reviewed before going live. We verify ownership, operating status, and basic quality standards so you can explore with confidence.
Community reporting
Guests and venue owners can flag any content or listing that seems wrong or harmful. Every report is reviewed by a human within 48 hours.
Secure payments
In-venue payments are processed via PCI-DSS compliant providers. Houny never stores your full card number — only tokenized references used by your chosen payment method.
Privacy first
Your location is used only while the app is open and only with your explicit permission. We do not sell personal data to advertisers. Full details in our privacy policy.
Report an issue
Spotted something unsafe, a fake listing, or a bad actor on Houny? Our safety team is on it.

Community guidelines
Treat venue staff and other guests with respect — in-venue or in reviews.
Only post reviews for venues you have personally visited.
Do not use Houny to harass, impersonate, or deceive other users.
Accurate information matters: do not submit false reports or fake check-ins.
